In short
LuxuryTrainTickets.com is a specialist retailer for luxury rail journeys, from the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express to the Royal Scotsman. Big Rocket designed and built the site in Webflow and still runs it, and organic search drives nearly all of its sales.
The brief
Every journey has several cabin grades, prices in three currencies and dates that sell out. The site had to show all of this accurately, rank for every train, and take bookings without a sales call.
What we built and why
01
Train pages that sell the experience
Every train opens with its own photography and story, with journeys, cabins and prices just one tab away.

02
A checkout made for high-value bookings
Foxy manages the cart, deposits and balances. Stripe processes the payment, with each currency sent to its own account.

03
Journey pages that answer the questions
Itineraries, cabins and dates on one page, with guest questions written in and marked up for search and AI answers.

Built to be found
Organic search has driven almost all of LuxuryTrainTickets.com’s sales since day one. We built the site for search engines and AI answers as much as for guests.
- Structured data on every pricing and journey page, pulled from the CMS
- FAQ markup on every train overview page
- Author pages for the guides
- An llms.txt file for AI assistants to read the site
- POA for sold-out journeys, ensuring search results never show a wrong price
