The brief
Jetify provides fighter jet experiences all over the world as well as private jet charter. Customers can request to take to the skies in ex-military fighter jets with an instructor for a ride of a lifetime, with some flights taking those brave enough to the stratosphere. The other side of the business offers private jet charter for those who like things to be a little more luxurious.
Big Rocket were appointed as the agency of choice for the branding of Jetify as well as the website design and build. Jetify weren’t the first brand to offer fighter jet experiences or private jet charter, but they were the first to combine the two. Therefore we needed to create a brand that didn’t look too military nor too luxurious while still evoking a sense of flight and exclusivity.
Being a new business, Jetify wanted a website they could grow in to. They wanted to launch with a handful of fighter jet experiences and a concierge service for private jet charter, meaning we had to build a website that we could hand over to their teams that was easy for them to take control of from day one.
How we did it
The main focus for us was to build a website that could be used by Jetify with ease. Since Jetify wanted to handle all of the content in-house, we needed to build something they could get to grips with easily and that made them feel in control of the website. Using our own custom setup, we built a website that could easily be edited and added to from the back-end as well as a visual front-end editor. These two options gave the team over at Jetify choice in how they go about adding to and maintaining their website.
The Jetify site also had some last-minute custom E-Commerce built in as well. While this wasn’t on the initial brief, we were able to add it within the initial project scope and still deliver the whole project on time. Jetify decided they wanted customers to be able to book and pay for fighter jet experiences themselves, so we added this functionality on to the website we built in the final week before launch.
